Highlights from the 2nd LATS Board Meeting
During its latest meeting, the LATS Board addressed key topics for the future of the society:
✅ An overview of the applications received for the Scientific Committees was presented, and the next steps for their composition were defined.
✅ Maria Teresa Nunes presented a proposal for a potential contract with the communications team, focused on producing journalistic materials.
✅ The composition of the Scientific Committee for the upcoming LATS Congress in Colombia, presented by Dr. Claudia Pelizas, was approved.
The LATS Board remains committed to strengthening the scientific community and promoting the advancement of endocrinology in Latin America.
Attending the meeting were Drs. Célia Regina Nogueira, Maria Tereza Nunes, Claudia G. Pellizas, Inês Califano, Caroline Serrano, Rosana Teresita Sklate, Anabela Zunino, Jorgelina Luz Guerra, and Juan Pablo Duenas.
