LATS Elections 2025
Dear LATS Members,
In accordance with our bylaws, the Electoral Committee is pleased to announce the opening of pre-candidate registrations for the upcoming LATS Elections 2025. The following positions are available:
Available Positions (2025-2027 Term)
President-Elect
Board of Directors – 9 Members
Fiscal Council – 3 Members
Registration Period
March 31 – April 28, 2025: Registration will be open via the LATS website: LATS Registration Portal.
Note: All associates have been added to the platform. For first-time access, please refer to this instructional video for guidance on user features. The process involves resetting your password using your registered email address.
Some Important Information
Only Active Members, Honorary Members, and Founding Members of LATS who meet the society’s obligations may register for positions and vote.
Correspondent Members and Aspirant Members are not eligible.
Defaulting members automatically have their rights suspended.
Candidates for the positions of Director of LATS and Fiscal Council are eligible for two years. Re-election for the position of Director is allowed only once. Re-election is not allowed in all other positions.
LATS Elections 2025- Dates/ Deadlines
- 1) March 31- April 28: Pre-candidates can submit their nominations for the positions available
- 2) April 29th -May7th: The Electoral Committee will verify candidates’ eligibility.
- 3) May 9th (Friday): Announcement of eligible candidates
- 4) June 15th (12:00 PM) to June 20th (12:00 PM). LATS Online Elections open for voting
- 5) June 20th (Friday) – 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Review of voting results by the Electoral Committee:
- 6) June 20th (Friday) (6:00-8:00 PM): Announcement of election results at the LATS General Assembly, as per the agenda.
