Lats announces its official statement on monitoring the optimal salt iodization at World Thyroid Day
Dear LATS Members,
To celebrate World Thyroid Day (25 May), LATS has just announced its official statement on the importance of assuring the adequate levels of iodine in salt for the population of Latin America.
Dr. Gabriela Brenta as LATS President together with the Board of Directors of LATS take the opportunity to congratulate the sister societies (ETA, ATA and AOTA) and patient organizations for the development of different actions to raise awareness of the importance of the thyroid gland and its disorders during the International Awareness Week on Thyroid (ITAW).
